NOW ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Heys Family Practice is now open!
I’m offering a limited-capacity, no-insurance-accepted practice built around a personalized care model designed for your health and convenience. As a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice, I intentionally keep my patient panel small to ensure truly individualized attention, extended visits, and direct access to your provider—Desirae Heys, DNP, APRN-CNP, FNP-BC.
Heys Family Practice will have a preplanned closing May 19th and May 20th please plan accordingly. I will have limited access by messaging and email
Why DPC?
The current healthcare system often leaves patients feeling rushed and undervalued.
Rushed visits: In insurance-based practices, appointments average just 7-10 minutes, forcing providers to see a high volume of patients daily. This often leads to inadequate time for thorough discussions about your health.
Unnecessary visits: Simple concerns or medication refills frequently require in-person appointments due to insurance billing requirements, resulting in wasted time for you.
Surprise bills: Lack of pricing transparency can lead to unexpected medical bills, adding financial stress to your healthcare experience
DPC: The Way Healthcare Should Be
At Heys Family Practice, we’re eliminating these obstacles to offer:
Longer visits—ample time to address all your health concerns without feeling rushed.
Direct access—communicate with me via phone, text, or email without unnecessary office visits.
Transparent pricing—affordable monthly memberships with no surprise bills.
A focus on preventative care—emphasizing wellness and personalized health strategies.
